NCT Events
Our coffee groups are an ideal place to meet and chat with other parents in a safe and friendly environment. We hold coffee events at people's houses on various days of the week. Bring your children along to play whilst you enjoy a coffee and a chat with other parents. A donation of 50p is requested for branch funds.
Full coffee lists are printed in our quarterly newsletter. This is free to members. If you are not a member and would like a copy pleaseemail the editorand we will post you a copy.
Friday Coffee Group
We are a friendly coffee group with children ranging from birth to pre-school. Newcomers are always welcome. If you are thinking of coming along thencontact the co-ordinatorfor more information. All times are Friday 10:00am to 11:30am.
Wednesday Talk
Everyone is welcome to come along to this friendly group! Children range from birth to pre-school. The group normally runs every tuesday at varying times, details are printed in our branch newsletter. If you are thinking of coming along thencontact the co-ordinatorfor more information.
Saturday Coffee Mornings
NCT members and non-members are invited to join their host for a morning's get together. The aim of this group is to meet once fortnightly . We would love to see Mums and Dads attend as well as all our full time working friends who perhaps have difficulty attending other social gatherings. Many parents who go out to work rarely see their child playing with others, so it's a good opportunity to be in on this vital part of growing up.
Great Escapes
Meeting on the first Friday of the month, this is a great way of getting a much needed night out! Just for adults (babes in arms welcome), we all choose how we wish to spend these evenings whether it be a shared super or a board games night, an evening to include partners or even going out for a meal, drink, bowling etc. The perfect opportunity for us hard working parents to get some much-needed quality time for ourselves, and have a good chat, laugh and may be even drink with our friends old and new.
All events are run by NCT members and any funds raised go to support our local branch and fund our trainee breastfeeding counsellors, antenatal teachers and postnatal leaders.
