We recently held our Autumn Nearly New Sale. This was an overwhelming success, with over 300 people coming along to grab a bargain, and a fantastic £1000 was raised to support the vital work of this charity! If you missed it, we hope you will join us at our next nearly new sale, which will be held on 1st March 2008 . As always, it's volunteers that make these sales possible. If you could help for a couple of hours at the sale then please give us a call. If you have items to sell please see the information below.
Tripping
over toys? Want to make yourself some money and support our
charity?
A
Nearly New sale of toys, baby equipment and clothes for babies and toddlers will
take place on Saturday, 1st March 2008 at Fulwell Methodist Church, Dovedale Road,
Sunderland.
Everyone
is welcome to come along as a buyer or a seller, with just one condition - that
the goods must be 'nearly new'. These sales are becoming so successful that this
sale has had to move to a bigger venue to accommodate the quantity of goods on
sale and parents seeking a bargain.
It’s easy to sell your items. To register simply contact us and leave your name and address on 07005 801045 or by email.
Sellers
receive 70 per cent of the selling price of your items, and the charity receives
30 per cent to help with supporting new parents in the area with services
including antenatal classes, breastfeeding support, postnatal support,
toddler/mother & baby groups and regular get-togethers.
NCT Nearly New sales give parents the chance to buy everyday necessities, such as baby equipment, toys, video's, games, puzzles, books, maternity wear and items such as coats and clothing for special occasions, all for a fraction of retail prices.
