You do not have to be a member of the NCT to access any of these services

Experience Register

This is a record of pregnancy, labour and postnatal experiences compiled by the NCT, for the benefit of those who want to contact someone who has shared a similar problem/experience. If you would like to add your experience, or would like to talk to somebody on the register about something happening to you at the moment, contact Hazel.

Postnatal Support

All class members are offered a postnatal contact who offers support through the first months of parenthood. Postnatal support is also offered to those who move to the area or feel that it would be of benefit to them. For more information contact Hazel.

Breastfeeding Counsellors

The branch currently has 3 trainee breastfeeding counsellors who will be available to support new parents in the near future, and Hazel Barry who has achieved great success and qualified as a breastfeeding counsellor, able to support all local mums with breastfeeding as well as nationally by working on the NCT breastfeeding line. Ameda Egnell Electric Breastpump hire

Ameda Egnell operate an electric breastpump hire scheme throughout the UK with the volunteer help of members of the NCT. If you need an electric breastpump for medical or convenience reasons, contact Mandy.

Valley Cushion hire

Sitting comfortably after delivery is often easier said than done. The Valley Cushion provides relief whether sitting in a chair or in bed by allowing you to adjust the level of support whilst ensuring that sore areas are kept free from painful pressure. In conjunction with UT Care Products Ltd, volunteer members of the NCT offer a hire scheme, for more information contact Mandy.

Branch Library

The branch has a wide selection of books on pregnancy, birth, new parenthood and other childcare related topics which are available for loan.
