This toddler group was set up by NCT volunteers and is run by NCT members. It takes place in  St Chad's church hall, on the Durham Road in Middle Herrington.

It is a very friendly group, where new-comers are always made to feel welcome. It runs on a Tuesday and a Thursday 9.30 – 11.30 am.

We have normally had a waiting list, as it has been so popular, but with some children about to leave and start nursery, there are places available at the moment. You are welcome to come along as a guest first for a fee of £2.00, to see if you like it.

Ages range from birth to five years, and all children come with their carer – mum, dad, grandparent, child minder etc.

Activities are available to suit all ages. Toys, range from energetic trucks, climbing frames etc, to the more relaxed Lego, train sets, books etc. We have story time, song time, drink and biscuit, and it’s a great social outlet for both parent and child alike.
